Building Community on Common Ground

Since 2014, Common Ground (CG) has stood as a unique bridge on campus—a place where faith meets radical inclusivity. What began as a vision by a small group of students has grown into a vibrant ministry that invites everyone to the table, regardless of their faith journey, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Our mission is simple: to find the "common ground" we all share as human beings and to express the love of Christ through tangible service. From our weekly fellowship at the Historic Banner Elk School to our partnerships with organizations like The Crossnore School and Feeding Avery Families, we are proof that diverse perspectives can unite for a common good.
